Realidade virtual e interfaces neurais em serious games: uma revisão sistemática da literatura

As interfaces BCI que utilizam Eletroencefalograma (EEG) têm crescido na área da saúde e em jogos digitais, visto a necessidade de se criar alternativas para diagnóstico e tratamento de vários distúrbios que acometem crianças e adolescentes que estão ligados à cultura digital. A tecnologia de Realidade Virtual (VR) se torna mais uma ferramenta que soma na imersão do usuário, tendo maior efetividade na aplicação deste aparelho que pode vir a se tornar um pouco invasivo ao usuário. Este estudo em formato de Revisão Sistemática da Literatura (RSL) promove um compilado de artigos que responderão que Serious Games estão sendo feitos atualmente utilizando estas tecnologias, quais seus propósitos, softwares complementares e como estes jogos são elaborados. Ao final é revelado que há um potencial maior para estas tecnologias que ainda estão sendo pouco exploradas fora da área da saúde, e que podem ter maior potencial para criar jogos mais engajantes e que atendam às suas necessidades clínicas e educacionais.
