Abstract

Com a eclosão da Grande Recessão, intensificou-se o debate sobre a segmentação no mercado de trabalho europeu. Diversos países europeus, como os do Sistema Anglo-Saxão, adotaram medidas para mitigar esse fenômeno. Este estudo investiga como os países europeus responderam à segmentação pós-crise, analisando respostas comuns e seus impactos nas dinâmicas de emprego e proteção social. Por meio de revisão bibliográfica, o trabalho destaca a diversidade de abordagens, salientando o papel das políticas de flexigurança na busca por emprego e segurança, contudo, com resultados diversos. A pesquisa indica que a flexibilidade, oriunda da desregulamentação, contribuiu para condições precárias de emprego, agravando a segmentação, sobretudo entre grupos vulneráveis. Em síntese, o estudo enfatiza a complexidade desse fenômeno no mercado de trabalho e a necessidade de estratégias adaptáveis para enfrentar seus desafios.
