Atuação local, impacto global – ações de voluntariado empresarial cooperativo em convergência com os ODS

O voluntariado corporativo tem um papel reconhecido e importante a desempenhar no alcance dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) das Nações Unidas, entretanto, a literatura explorando o papel do voluntariado em relação aos ODS ainda é limitada. Com referência ao cooperativismo também há uma falta de estudos que investiguem como as práticas desempenhadas pelas cooperativas contribuem para a realização dos ODS. Por isso este artigo analisa como o voluntariado corporativo em uma cooperativa pode contribuir para a implementação dos ODS a partir das perspectivas dos voluntários. Para atingir este propósito foram realizados quatro focus group com voluntários, além da análise documental sobre as ações de voluntariado na cooperativa. A partir da análise de conteúdo das informações coletadas conclui-se que o voluntariado corporativo serve como estratégia para a cooperativa estar próxima da comunidade onde está inserida, e com isso praticar ativamente seus princípios e valores, colocando-se efetivamente como organização empresarial transformadora. A combinação dessas práticas de voluntariado com os ODS, seus objetivos e metas, fortalece as práticas que passam a ser orientadas por diretrizes globais com aplicabilidade local.
